The GymyGym is like a Bullworker combined with an office chair. The admittedly rather comfy-looking chair, comprising a frame laced with bungees in place of seat-squabs, is further enhanced with exercise equipment, meaning you can visit the gym without leaving your desk.
More bungees with various handles and ankle-cuffs sprout from various spots on the chair, [...]

No matter how much you love your iPad, there will always come a time when you feel the need to prop up this hefty tablet while simultaneously giving its audio and battery a little boost. Well, Altec Lansing thinks you do, anyway. Like the $99 SMK-Link PadDock 10 we reviewed not long ago, Altec’s Octiv Stage (or Octiv 450 outside the US) also provides a combo of swivel hinge and speakers for the iPad, but is this $149.95 dock worth the extra money? Read on to find out.

If free Android phones on every US carrier weren’t enough to entice you into a Best Buy Mobile store this month, maybe a deeply discounted Droid Pro will be. Motorola’s Android 2.2 handset, which launched at $179.99 with the usual two-year Verizon tie-in, is now available for purchase for exactly $130 less at Best Buy’s mobile outlets — both the online and brick-and-mortar varieties will let you walk away with one for $49.99 and a 24-month commitment. We don’t know where all these crazy deals are coming from, but we ain’t complaining.
[Thanks, Tony]
Update: Amazon.com is undercutting Best Buy with a $19.99 price for those opening new Verizon accounts when buying the Droid Pro.

For all you Comcast subscribers out there waiting on the Comcast Mobile and Xfinity apps for Android, listen up. (Erm, or just keep reading). We’re still waiting on the Xfinity Mobile App (aka Comcast Mobile App 3.0), and the Comcast Mobile App Android 2.0 release (there’s a mouthful) is now slated for Dec. 7 release — yes, another delay.
In the meantime, we’ve basically got the user manuals, plus feature lists, buglists and troubleshooters. Everything you could want, except for the actual app, that is. You can check it all out after the break. E-mail retrieval, DVR settings, voicemail, TV listings, the works.
And in the meantime, we’ll all just have to sit back and wait and hope that there won’t be any more delays.

The ultraslim, metallic, chiclet-styled obsession all began back in mid-2007, but a revised iMac in March of 2009 delivered something else: a chopped-down version of the Apple Keyboard. If you’ll recall, that one dropped the numeric keypad and gained two peripheral USB sockets, making it one of the more compact desktop keyboards on the market. Just shy of its second birthday, it seems as if the supply chain overlords in Cupertino have seen fit to discontinue it, though a number of e-tailers still seem to have stock for the moment. If you’re dead-set on snagging one (we know, stocking’s aren’t that long), Amazon can make your day for $46.99, but we’d probably pony up the extra $3 necessary to bring one home with a number pad on the right.

It’s been almost two years since the XIM2 finally became available, letting Xbox 360 gamers bring some additional inputs to their gaming — namely a keyboard and a mouse. Now its successor is nearing availability and its final form has been unleashed to the world. This version is considerably more advanced than its predecessor, sporting a little LCD for easier programming and some very advanced game-specific tuning called “Smart Translators.” These handle various settings for various games, automatically deleting the various sized and various shaped dead zones employed by various shooters, demonstrated in a video below. No price has been announced yet, but we’re guessing it’ll cost a good bit more than the (now discontinued) XIM2′s $149.99.

So, how about it, Google? Will we be able to take our browser out for a little Christmas shopping, or is the Web Store on hold until Chrome OS launches “in the coming months?”
Thanks, Terrence!

Despite talk of dire consequences for U.S. foreign policy and military intelligence, online publisher Wikileaks Sunday began releasing more than 250,000 leaked cables between 274 worldwide embassies and the U.S. State Department. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange calls the leaked cables “the largest set of confidential documents ever to be released into the public domain” on the organization’s website.
